Reba Delois Coons, 48, of 402 Camby Ave., died Tuesday afternoon in Culver Hospital. A housewife, she was a member of the Church of Christ. She was born April 15, 1931, in Jackson County, Tenn., a daughter of Herbert and Lois McCarter York. They survive and reside on Rt. 7, Crawfordsville. She was educated in Tennessee schools. She was married Nov. 23, 1968 to Jack Coons, who survives. Other survivo[r]s are three daughters, Jackie Lynn, Paula Louis, and Tracey Lee, all at home; five brothers, Clifton and Roy of New Market, Harrison of Rt. 1, Ladoga, Hershel of Rt. 7, Crawfordsville, and Ernest of Mesa, Ariz; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Osborn of Rt.1. Crawfordsville; and several aunts and uncles. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Powers Funeral Home at New Market with the Rev: Gene Warman officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m Thursday.
