Waynetown Oct. 3-Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Coons were held Thursday afternoon from the home of her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Moore. Mrs. Coons, who was known as Bessie, passed away early Tuesday morning in Culver Hospital, where she had been a medical patient four weeks Mrs. Coons was a member of the First Baptist church, Crawfordsville, and its pastor the Rev. B.E. Antrobus, conducted the funeral service. Two duets were sung by Mrs. Homer Biddle and Mrs. Dodson, also of that church, who were accompanied by Mrs. Antrobus, pianist. Flowers were carried by Mrs. Charles Otis, Danville, Ill.; Mrs. Frank Mason, Evanston, Ill.; Mrs. Richard Hayes, Miss Verna Goff, Elmdale; Mrs. Merle Coons, Mrs. Elmer Coons, and Mrs. Frank Coons, Crawfordsville; The pallbearers were Elmer Coons, Richard Hayes, Homer Goff, Merle Coons, Earle Goff, Frank Coons, Chares Otis and Harry Coons. Burial took place in the Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville. - kbz
