Mrs. Mary Line Cook, 69, of New Richmond, died Thursday morning in Culver Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Cook was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Crawfordsville, Legion Auxiliary, WSCS, Tuesday Study Club, New Richmond Homemaker Club, DAR, Bridge-A.Rama, Senior Citizens and VFW Auxiliary. Born Sept. 12, 1902, in Smartsburg, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Line. She was graduated from Crawfordsville High School. She married Lowell A. Cook Oct. 12, 1921. He died in 1960. Survivors include four sons, Harold of Dallas, Tex., James of New Richmond, Phillip of Romney and Michael of Eutis, Fla.; seven daughters, Mrs. William Pierce of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Frank Perdue of Brownsburg, Mrs. Errett Suitors of Buck Creek, Mrs. John Pryor of Coeburn, Va., Mrs. Larry Harbison of Roachdale, Mrs. Eric Rasmussen of Attica, and Jennifer, at home; a stepmother, Mrs. Mima Line of Crawfordsville; 24 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and a son, Thomas. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bright and Burkhart Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Schenck officiating. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
