Linden - Paris A. Conrad, 75, of Linden, was dead on arrival at Home Hospital at Lafayette at 6:30 a.m. today. He had been a set-up man at Purdue University until retiring in 1968. Born Aug. 25, 1899, at Linden, he was a son of George A. and Ivy May Conrad. He was married to Lottie Ellen Evans on May 9, 1925, at Lafayette. She survives. Also surviving is a son, Dan E. of Romney; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Alberta) Johnson of Vincennes, Mrs. Clara Lee Vester of Lafayette and Mrs. Harold (Phyllis) Tribby of Lafayette; a brother, Richard Conrad of New Market; three sisters, Leona Pease of Romney, Mrs. Loma Keller of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Lee (Donola) Connaroe of Romney; and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Helms Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Oakes officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-9 p.m. Thursday.
