Mrs. Susan A. Conner, one of Montgomery County’s most aged and highly esteemed ladies, died at the home of her son, Joshua Conner, one and one half miles west of New Ross, Monday morning, Nov 28. She was born in Spencer County, Ky April 28, 1817; was married to Smith Conner Dec 11, 1834. To them were born four children, 3 of whom survive. For more than half a century she has been a member of the United Brethren church and died in the faith of the blessed gospel. The funeral took place from Union Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. HC Riley of Mace. – kbz

Mrs. Susan Conner, relict of Smith Conner and mother of the late M. A. Conner, Joshua Conner, Mrs. Benj. F. Walkup and Mrs. B. F. White, died Monday morning. The funeral occurred Tuesday at 11 o’clock at the old Union Church, one and one half miles east of Mace. - s

Mrs. Susan Conner, relict of Smith Conner, was born in 1817. She married Smith Conner and in 1858 moved to the home place, two and one half miles west of New Ross. She died Monday, Nov. 28, at 3 a.m. Funeral and interment was at Union, Rev. H. C. Riley officiating. There were two sons and two daughters who survive her, except M. A. Conner, who died two years ago. She had made her home with her son, Joshua Conner, at whose residence she died. -s
