Mrs. Naomi CONNER, 38, resident of Waynetown died at the Robert Long hospital in Indianapolis Friday afternoon at 4. Mrs. Conner had been ill for several years but had been in a serious condition only for the past two weeks. The deceased was born near Waynetown July 5, 1893, the daughter of Charles and Dollie Biddle Swank. She was married to Benjamin Conner. Mrs. Conner was a member of the Liberty Church NE of here. With the exception of 4 years which were spent in Linden, Mrs. Conner had lived in the vicinity of Waynetown throughout her life. The survivors include the husband; two daughters, Ruth Conner, a nurse in the Robert Long hospital and Fredia, at home; one son, Harold at home; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Whitaker of Hillsboro and Mrs. James Reed of Indianapolis; a brother Carlton Swank of Waynetown and her mother, Mrs. Dollie Swank of Waynetown. The funeral services will be held at the Waynetown Christian Church Monday afternoon at 2 Rev Michels of Linden will have charge; burial will take place in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
