Mrs. Julia F. Conner, 60, a former Waveland and Russellville resident died at 11:00 p.m. Saturday June 25 at Noblesville in the Riverside Hospital, after a year of failing health. Born in the Waveland community May 19, 1900, she was the daughter of Frank and Nina Jarvis Johnson. She married January 18, 1918 in Crawfordsville to Oliver Conner. Mrs. Conner and her family resided in Russellville for several years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Martha Strong of Corpus Christi, Texas and Mrs. Joan Emanuel of Indianapolis; her mother Mrs. Nina Williams of Carmel; a sister, Mrs. Helen Eatson of Carmel and a half brother, Clay Williams of Rockville. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Machled & Servies Funeral Home. Burial in Waveland Presbyterian Cemetery. -- kbz
