Asobel (sic) Asahel) B (urnham) Conn, a Civil War Veteran of New Richmond, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Conn (sic - should be Kite) yesterday morning at ten. He has been ill for more than a year, and for the past week, death has been expected by his friends and relatives. He was 77 years of age, and has been afflicted with Bright's disease which caused his death. Mr. Conn was born in Pennsylvania, but moved here a short time after coming to manhood, and has lived in this county almost continuously since then. His wife, Nancy Jane died a number of years ago. Mr. Conn is survived by 8 children: Mrs. Elizabeth Kite of New Richmond; Mrs. Clint Francis of Sugar Grove; Mrs. Carl Taugher, William Conn; Edward, David; Albert and Charles all of New Richmond. He also has a brother in the West. Funeral arrangements have not been completed - typed by kbz
