Miss Angie Compton, aged 40 years, the daughter of Eli Compton, died yesterday at 2 o'clock a.m. of heart failure, at the family residence in Lougview. The deceased 'lived a useful life and her death will be mourned by many friends. - thanks so much to Kim H for this one :)

The death of Miss Angie Compton occurred this morning at 3 o'clock at the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Compton, on West Market Street. The deceased was 42 years of age and the cause of her death was dropsy. The funeral services will take place Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. Cunning. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery - kbz
