BROWNSBURG – Lex Collins, 69, 116 N. Grant St., died Tuesday morning at his home here. He was a retired farmer and former resident of Waveland. He is survived by his wife, Mable; two sons, Bob of Pittsboro and Bill of Ladoga; a daughter, Mrs. Pat Poynts of Danville; three brothers, Herman and Richard of Wallace and Jim of Waveland, and five sisters, Mrs. Ruby Pence of Alabama, Mrs. Myrtle Johnson of New Jersey, Mrs. Morane Verhey of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Mary Wray of West Point and Mrs. Josephine Clore of Danville, Ill. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Jones & Matthews Mortuary here. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery at New Market. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
