A former Crawfordsville resident, Mrs. Florence Lacey Cochran, 81, died Monday in Framingham, Mass., after a long illness. She had been a resident of Framingham for the past 22 years. Mrs. Cochran was born in Bluffton, Ind., to Charles and Alice Studebaker Lacey. She married Morris Cochran who died in 1941. She was educated in Crawfordsville schools and graduated from Vassar College in 1911. For many years she was a member of the First Methodist Church in Crawfordsville and continued her membership until her death. She was also a member of the Athens Chapter 97, Order Eastern Star. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Alice) N. Young Jr., with whom she made her home, and a grandson, Craig Cochran Young of Saxonville, Mass. Services were held Tuesday in Framingham. A memorial service will be held in Crawfordsville at a later date and interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
