Mrs. Roxie Clements, a lifelong resident of Crawfordsville, died Wednesday at the Bowles Convalescent Home in Crawfordsville. She had been in failing health several  years and had become critically ill two weeks ago.  Mrs. Clements was born Aug 5, 1883 in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Davis (sic).  On June 10, 1906, she was married to Frank Clements here. Mrs. Clements who resided at 618 E Wabash Ave was a member of the First Methodist Church of Crawfordsville. Her husband was connected with the post office until his retirement several years ago.  Surviving besides the husband is a grandson, Norman McDouglass at Glen Ellyn, Ill and a brother-in-law, Charles Clements of Crawfordsville.  Her daughter, Faye died in 1954.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home, Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home ater 4 p.m. Thursday. (thanks to DC)
