Dr. Shelby S. Clark, 59 years old died at 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at his home in the Kunstman apartments death following an attack of indigestion. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucinda Clark, two children, Charles S. Clark who has just received his discharge from the SATC at Illinois University Dental College at Chicago and Mrs. George Hills, 901 Blaine Avenue this city. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Derrick and Mrs. Victor Clement, both of Wingate, Ind. Dr. Clark was born in Montgomery County, Indiana June 11, 1859 and came here 15 years ago from Muncie, Ind. His marriage to Miss Lucinda Pitcher took place Nov 11, 1886 in Williamsport, Ind. Funeral services were held at 8 o’clock this morning at the residence, Rev. JN Greene pastor of the First ME Church officiating. The body was taken to Williamsport for burial.
