CLARK, Donald Crose

4 March 1907 (Neoga Illinois) – 16 Aug 1967 (Crawfordsville, Indiana) – buried Humboldt Township Cemetery, Coles County, Illinois.  Parents: George W. Clark and Angeline (Crose)

Funeral services for Donald C. Clark were held at Bright Funeral Home Friday morning with Rev. Bennett Fulp officiating.  Mrs. Geneva Middleton played selected organ music.  The men acting as pallbearers were Dale Elliott; Claude Updike; Harold Long; Austin Stephens, Leroy Harwood and Lester Sperry.  Burial was in the family plot in the Humboldt Township Cemetery at Humboldt (Coles County), Illinois. --- kbz



Note: In the 1910 census (findagrave) Donald C. Clark was living in the George and Angeline Clark home as an orphan which assume his sister and brother, Eddie and Blanche Clark, also listed as orphans.  Don married Esther Evelyn Starwalt June 25, 1934 (1911-1980).  In the 1940 census in Humboldt, he and Esther have two children: Marvin and Marilyn.  He was a grain salesman and had completed three years of college.  Four years later they moved to Crawfordsville.  In the 1952 city directory, he operated the Clark’s Cottage grocery – lived at 801 S.
