Travis Bert Clouse, 76 of near Wallace died at 7:10 p.m. Monday at a Crawfordsville nursing home where hehad lived the lst 7 years after being stricken with paralysis. He was born December 19, 1879 the son of Andrew and Eliza Pickett Clouse of near Wallace. He was married on Feb 4, 1903 at Wallace to Cora E. Clodfelter, who survives with 4 sons, Esten of Hammond, Vernice and Paul of Gary and Gerald of Kingston, Tenn; 3 daughters, Mrs. Carol West of Corpus Christi Tx; Mrs. Agenes Sloan of Wallace and Mrs. Inez Bennett, Hillsboro; and 3 bros, Emmet, Kingman ; Joe Crawfordsville and Frank, Wallace; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with burial in Lutheran Cemetery, Wallace.

Waynetown - Travis Bert Clouse, 71 years old, died Monday at 7:10 p.m. in the Graves Nursing home in Crawfordsville. He had been ill for seven years. A native of the Wallace community, Mr. Clouse was born December 19, 1879, the son of Andrew and Eliza Pickett Clouse. He was married on Feb. 4, 1903 to Cora E. Clodfelter, who survives. Before his illness, Mr. Clouse was a farmer near Wallace. He was a member of the Methodist church in East Chicago. Other survivors include four sons, Easten of Hammond, Vernest of Gary, Paul of Gary, and Gerald of Kingston, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. Carol West of Corpus Christi, Tex., Mrs. Agnes Sloan of Wallace, and Mrs. Inez Bennett of Hillsboro; three brothers, Emmet of Kingman, Joe of Crawfordsville, and Frank of Wallace; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:?0 p.m.at the Grenard and Servies funeral home in Waynetown. Rev. John Servies will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran cemetery at Wallace. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.
