Following an extended illness, Franklin Leroy Clouse passed away Tuesday morning in his home near Atlanta, Georgia. Leroy was born June 2, 1926 in Indianapolis to Franklin Jesse and Grace Clouse. After serving as a staff seargent for the U.S. Marine Corp in Okinawa in WW II, he joined R. R. Donnelley & Sons. Leroy retired after 37 years as a customer service representative in Willard, Ohio. During those years, he served on the boards of Huron County Bank and National City Bank of Norwalk, Ohio along with the Huron County Board of Mental Health. He was active in the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church where he was a Sunday School teacher and also was on their board. He enjoyed travel, his family and also was a licensed pilot. Mr. Clouse is survived by his wife of 58 years, Imogene Gerald Clouse, daughters Terri Sandefer of The Villages, Florida and Jerri Haas of Atlanta, Georgia. He also has 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and is survived by one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be Friday at 11:00 am in Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave. Burkhart Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
