Mrs. Juanita CLODFELTER, 70, died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday in Mission Municipal Hospital, Mission, Texas after a short illness. She and her husband, Alvan (sic - Alan) were on vacation. Mrs. Clodfelter had been an active member of the First Christian Church in Crawfordsville and member of its Women Fellowship, Choir & Builders Class. She was a charter member of the South Union Home Demonstration Club, a charter member of WWI Barracks Auxiliary, a member of Lew Wallace War Mothers, Women's Christian Temperance Union, Mt. Tabor Friendship Club & the Triple 4 CLub. She was born July 30, 1897 at Russellville, a daughter of Manford and Alam (Goff) Carrington. She married Alvan Clodfelter, Jan 18, 1918 at Indianapolis. Surviving along with her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Lorene Townsend and Mrs. Ruth Brown a son Elton "Bud" Clodfelter, a sister, Mrs. Dale McCullough, a brother, Ralph Carrington of Stafford, VA; 7 grandchildren and a great grandchild. She was preceded in death by an infant sister. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville.

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Clodfelter will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bright Funeral Home here with Rev. Paul Million and Rev. Moward officiating. Interment will follow in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Clodfelter, 70, died Sunday morning in Mission, Tex.

Final rites for Mrs. Alvan Clodfelter were conducted at the Bright Funeral Home Thursday afternoon with Rev. Paul E. Million and Rev. Howard F. Miller in charge. Curtis E. Bright played requested selections on the organ. Pallbearers, who also assisted with the flowers, were Ron Brown and Rick Brown of Lowell, Tom Townsend of Attica, Jerry Goff of Monticello and Donald Webster and Everett Layson of Crawfordsville. Burial was in the family plot in the Masonic Cemetery.
