Elmer A. CLODFELTER of near Russellville died Monday afternoon at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He was 70. He was born in Putnam Co April 24, 1886, son of Daniel Newton and Laura Collins Clodfelter. He was married to Betty Sewell. He had been a farmer in Putnam Co. all his life and was a member of the Russellville Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, six sons: Howard, Lloyd and Donald of Indianapolis; Lyle and William David of Morton and Wilalrd of Clinton Falls; two brothers, Oscar Clodfelter near Russellville and Clyde of Columbus, Ohio and a sister, Mrs. Eric McBride, Rockville. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 at Union Chapel Church west of Morton, Rev. Bob Lewis of Indianapolis officiating. Burial in Hebron Cemetery near Russellville. - kbz
