Alan CLODFELTER, 83, who had farmed south of Crawfordsville more than 50 years, died Monday at Mission, Texas where he had made his home since last fall. A veteran of WWI, he was a member of the World War Barracks, Christian Church, Masonic Lodge and Farm Bureau. Born Aug 3, 1894 at Russellville, he was a son of Edward and Lula Norman Clodfelter. His first marriage was in 1918 to Juanita Carrington. He was next married to Vivian Pike. She survives. Other survivors are a son, Elton, two daughters, Lorene Townsend and Ruth Brown, a brother, Otis 7 grandchildren and six greats. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home, burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday. - kbz
