Mrs. Mary A. CLARK passed away early Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Glyndon Grimes in Indianapolis. The funeral will be Friday afternoon conducted from the Proffitt Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. No details are available at present. - kbz

Mrs. Mary (Mollie) Clark 69, a resident of Waveland most of her life, died Wednesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Grimes in Indianapolis. She had been in poor health for 3 months. Born July 5, 1879, at North Salem, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of James K. and Minerva Davis BRITTON. On Sept 29, 1897 she married EH Clark of Crawfordsville who died in November, 1945. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Waveland Christian Church and the Auxiliary unit of the Frank Britton American Legion Post, named in memory of her brother. Surviving besides the daughter at whose home she died are a brother William Britton of Detroit, Michigan; a nephew , Harry Britton formerly of Crawfordsville and two grandchildren, Mrs. Martha Edmonds and James Grimes of Indianapolis. Funeral services were held last Friday at 1 at the Profit & Sons Funeral home with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, Rev. Forrest Graves of New Ross and Rev. Osborn of Ladoga officiated. - kbz
