Mrs. Ina L. Clark, 75, of Rt. 5, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Culver Hospital at 4 p.m. Saturday. She had become ill at her home a short time earlier and an ambulance was summoned to take her to the hospital. Born Nov. 29, 1888 in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of Hubbard L. and Juie C. Epperson Miller. She married Fred L. Clark Oct. 10, 1908. They were married at Crawfordsville. Mr. Clark died Feb. 11, 1956. She attended county schools. Mr. and Mrs. Clark spent most of their married life in the Ladoga community where he farmed. Her only survivors are a brother, John L. Miller, and a nephew, William H. Miller, both of Summitville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bright Funeral Home here with Rev. Ray Britton of Roachdale officiating. Interment will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after noon Tuesday.

Note: she and Fred had no children but loved them and started the Clark Scholarship for them I believe before their death but perhaps named for them after death?
