Crawfordsville – Loren Max Chapman Sr, 69 of Floral Lane, Cornelius, NC died Monday Oct 12 in Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Chapman was a retired accountant, last employed by Carolina Foods as office manager and controller for 10 years. Born Jan 19, 1923 in Montgomery County he was a 1949 graduate of Duke University. He married Ruth Jones June 7, 1944. She survives. Mr. Chapman was a WWII Army veteran and member of VFW. Also surviving are a daughter, Sharon Register of Albemarle, ND; three sons, Tom Chapman of Candler, NC; Paul Chapman of Charlotte and L. Max Chapman Jr. of Mooresville, NC and a sister, Yvonne Myers of Crawfordsville – kbz.
