Chandler - Laura - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Last Friday at two minutes past 2 o’clock, Laura Chandler, colored, breathed her last at the home of her mother, Mrs. Francis Reed, No. 319 East Jefferson Street, after a two years’ battle with consumption. The deceased was 22 years of age and a widow. The funeral occurred from the Second Baptist Church on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock conducted by Rev. Cromwell. Interment was at Odd Fellows’ Cemetery.
