Chadwick - Jessie
Source: Crawfordsville Daily Journal Thursday, 31 August 1893 Edition
Yesterday Jessie Chadwick, the eleven year old daughter of Eli Chadwick, living several miles east of the city, met with a most painful and lamentable accident. The child was driving a mower and fell off. Her arm was struck by the sickles and was terribly lacerated at the wrist, the bone even being gashed and torn. Dr. Ensminger was called and fears that amputation will be necessary.
WHOOPS - already had this on here before I realized it should go in news vs obit - don't see her on findagrave so hopefully she recovered just fine !
