Cedars - Lola

Waynetown May 15 - Mrs. Lola Frances Cedars, 43 years old, a resident of this community for several years, died this morning at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville where she had been a patient the past few days.
Deasth was caused by influenza and followed in illness, lasting one week.
A native of Pulaski County, Ky, Mrs. Cedars was born April 16, 1896, the daughter of Everett and Mary E. Gilleon. She was united in marriage with Oscar Cedars AUg 29, 1921 and for the past few years had lived north of Yountsville. Following her marriage she was a resident of Waynetown and vicinity, the family laer moving in Kokomo where resident was maintained for seven years.]
Surviving are the husband, one daughter, Margaret Marie, age 11, three sons, Ivan Lee, 16, Clarence William, 14, and Howard F, 7 all at home. The parents, two sisters, Mrs. Marie Spillman and Mrs. Nellie Summers and three brothers, William, John and Leslie Gilleon, all of Kokomo.
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Dorothy Ellen, age 5, who died in 1921.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the FIrst Baptist Church in Crawfordsville of which the deceased was a member with Rev. HE Antrobus, pastor of the church officiating and the Rev. HB Elmore assisting. Burial will be made at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kz
