Albert Cedars, 79, 1006 West State Street died at 9:30 o’clock Saturday morning at Restmor Nursing Home. He had been ill for a year and bedfast since January 18 when he broke a hip in a fall.  He was born March 1, 1870 in Montgomery County, the son of Frank and Sarah Shafer Cedars and was married April 1, 1894 to Miss Etta May Bible of Waynetown. The couple came to Kokomo Dec 23, 1901.  Mr. Cedars worked at the old Rockford Bit Works and his last employment was with Kokomo Rubber Works.  He was a member of the Christian Union Church near Waynetown.  Surviving with the widow is a son, Paul 923 W Forster Street.  One son died in infancy.  The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Fenn Funeral Home with Rev. Eerett Nixon officiating. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 o’clock Monday night. - kbz
