CEDARS, Opal - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Opal Marie Cedars, 67, 902 Vandalia St died unexpectedly about 10:15 p.m. Friday at her home.  She had been a life resident of Crawfordsville.  She was born here May 3, 1900 to Ollie and Nancy Stephens Calwell.  She was married July 19, 1920 to Russell Cedars, who survives.  Mrs. Cedars was a member of the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church.  Survivors besides the husband and a brother, Carl Caldwell (sic) and two sisters, June Smith and Merle Becklehiemer.  All three are from Crawfordsville.  Two infant children preceded Mrs. Cedars in death.  Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Charlotte HoTopp officiating.  Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral Home after noon Sunday.   --- kbz
