Mrs. Helen Goodbar Christy, 75, former Crawfordsville resident, died at 6 p.m. Saturday in Indiana Masonic Home Hospital at Franklin, where she had been a patient since 1962. A native of Kingwood, W VA she was born Nov 7, 1894 and came to Crawfordsville in 1914. She was the widow of Roy Christy and lived here until 1961. For a year she made her home with a daughter and son-in-law of Jeffersonville. Mrs. Christy was a 50-year member of Athens Chapter, OES. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Rush of Clarksville, Ind, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services are conducted at 1 p.m. today at the Masonic Home in Franklin. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. - kbz
