Hazel Grace Chesterson, 29, died at 611 Grace Avenue at 6:45 a.m. Sunday following an attack of diabetes Saturday. A resident of Gary, Mrs. Chesterson, came to this city to the home of her mother on Saturday, when she suffered the attack which proved fatal. She had been suffering from diabetes for several years. The deceased was born in this city on November 7, 1900, the daughter of John William and Ada Olive Hinton. On May 30, 1920, she was united in marriage with Damon M Chesterson. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was educated in the local schools. She was formerly employed at a local department store. Surviving are the husband, the parents, and a grandmother, Mrs. Rebecca Hinton. Several uncles and aunts also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Church of Christ., Rev. CG Vincent, pastor of the church will have charge. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. - typed by kbz
