Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen CHENAULT were held Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. AC EVANS. Rev. HR Sigler, pastor of the Presbyterian Church had charge of the services. Pall bearers were Allen Spencer; Grant Vail; Homer Robison; Dan Goodwin and Theron Banta. The many beautiful floral pieces were carried by Mesdames JM Milligan; Tom Durham; Alonzo Deere; Dan Goodwin; TS Banta and Harry Machledt. Mrs. Chenault had made her home in Waveland since the death of her husband in 1907 and during that time has made a host of friends by her quiet, friendly, unassuming disposition. She was a true mother and a helpful neighbor and friend. The death of her son, Harry several years ago was a crushing blow to her. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Hobart Cheanult and family of Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Fraley and daughter, Adda of Bloomington, Ind; Mrs. ed Wealing of Remington; Mrs. Harris Temble and Mrs. Mayme Hickman of Oxford; Mrs. Howard Paddock and daughter of Darlington; Mrs. FW Darbro of Erlanger, Ky; Mrs. Jack Burke and Dave Burke of Hillsboro and Mr. and Mrs. UG Vail; Mr. and Mrs. Allen Spencer and Clarence Joel of Crawfordsville. - kbz
