Mr. William Chamness died at his home on Samuel Milligan's farm E. of town on Tuesday at noon after being ill of consumption for about a year. He was buried at Union Cemetery after funeral services at that place conducted by Rev. Mr. Airhart. Mr. Chamness was a brick mason by trade and a worthy citizen. He was a member of the old line Baptist Church and also of the AOUW in which organization he was insured for $2000. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Chamness and two sons, Wesley and Henry. - kbz
