Caplinger - Eva Gee Brush

New Market, October 3- Mrs. Eva Gee Brush Caplinger, native of New Market, died at a Logansport hospital at 4 o'clock Friday morning, according to word received by relatives here. She had been ill nearly two weeks. She was born near New Market, the daughter of James and Sarah Belle Brush, and was first married to Tod Scott, who died in 1918. In 1922 she was married at Indianapolis to Arthur Caplinger. Mrs. Caplinger was educated in the New Market and Crawfordsville schools and was a member of the New Market Christian church.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Caplinger of Logansport; one son, Charles B. Scott of Jacksonville, Florida; three sisters, Mrs.H.B. Sayler of New Market, Mrs. David Berkowitz of Jacksonville, and Mrs. O.M. Seaman of Los Angelas, California, and three brothers, George Brush of Chickasaw, Oklahoma, John Brush of Los Angeles, California, and Will Brush of Logansport. The funeral will be held at New Market at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of H.B. Sayler. The body will arrive at the Sayler home Saturday at 2 p.m. where friends may call. – thanks to Kim H
