Ralph Canine, an old and respected citizen of Brown Township, departed this life September 27, 1879 about 5 a.m. Funeral services on the 28th at old Union Church conducted by Elders Goben and Skeeters and was attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends. Mr. Canine was over 90 years of age. – kbz
