Darlington, May 28 – Francis Willis Campbell 80, former local druggist and state food inspector died at his home here at 2:15 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. He had been ill for the past 8 years but not seriously so until the first of the year. His entire life was spent in the community in which he died. He was a member of the local Congregational Christian Church, Knights of Pythias and Masonic Lodge. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Buchanan of Darlington; one brother, Charles Campbell of Waveland; one sister, Mrs. Etta Frailey of Monon and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the home Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock with Rev. WH Zenor officiating. Burial will take place in the IOOF cemetery. – kbz
