Mrs. Julia S. Cadwallader, wife of Charles Cadwallader, died at her home at West Lebanon this morning after a lingering illness of consumption. She leaves a child five years old and a husband to mourn. Her remains will arrive in this city at one o’clock and the interment made at Oak Hill Cemetery. The funeral will be at 3 o’clock on Saturday.

The above will be sad intelligence to the many friends of the deceased in this city. Mrs. Cadwallader, whose maiden name was Julia Songer, was married here six years ago next December and her married life was a most happy one. She was an estimable Christian lady and all unite in mourning her untimely death. -s

Julia V. Songer was married to Charles Cadwallader on Dec. 2, 1866. She was a resident of this city some eight years, dying at West Lebanon, Ind., Sept. 8, 1892, aged 25 years, 3 months, and 20 days. Her disease was consumption hastened by la grippe. She was formerly a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in this city. Upon removing to West Lebanon, she and her husband joined the Presbyterian Church and at the same time their bright little daughter, Maude, was baptized. She leaves a widowed mother, a sister, a husband and a child, in addition to many warm friends who lament her early demise. Mrs. C. adorned her profession with a sweet life of devotion and earnest piety. Her death was peaceful and conscious. -s
