Street Commissioner George F. Carver received word Friday of the death of his brother Charles W. Carver, which occurred in Detroit Thursday. He had been ill about two years and his death leaves George the only surviving member of his immediate family of five children. C.W. Carver was born in Clinton Township, Putnam County Nov 16, 1859 and was the son of William and Lucy Carver. He leaves a widow and two children, a son, Cecil Carver of Peru and a daughter, Mrs. SA Mercer of Indianapolis. The body will be brought to Crawfordsville probably tonight and burial made in Oak Hill. - typed by kbz
