INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Charles W. Carrico, founder of a retail furniture store chain bearing his name, died Thursday at Methodist Hospital here. He was 69. Carrico opened his first store in Columbus in 1941 and eventually also owned stores in Indianapolis, Lebanon, Crawfordsville, Muncie, Anderson, Marion, Terre Haute, Franklin and Logansport. He retired in 1968 after having sold all of the stores except those at Columbus and Logansport. Services will be held here Saturday. – jlr
