Elizabeth Ellen McGloughlin Carr, 49, 616, Union St., died at 5 a.m. Tuesday at her home. The cause of death was listed as heart failure. She was the owner and operator of Betty's Beauty Box which she maintained in her home. Mrs. Carr was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crawfordsville. Born Nov. 15, 1921, she was the daughter of Leroy and Opal Keller Bannister of Crawfordsville. She married Marion Carr on Oct. 10, 1969. Survivors including her husband are a sister Dorothy Tague, a half brother Rodean Eggers both of Crawfordsville, and two nieces. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Carter officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. -- typed by Chris M.
