Tyre L. CANINE, 66 better known when living here as Tad, died at his home in South Bend on Saturday evening. Funeral services were held in the Hunt & Reeves Funeral Home, Crawfordsville on Monday afternoon. Burial in Bethany Cemetery. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Canine and was born on a farm northwest of Waveland. He married Miss Effie McMURTRY, Oct 18, 1897 at Marshall where they lived for a time. He conducted a feed store in Waveland on the site of Dr. Noblitt's office. With his daughter, Mrs. Helen OVERMAN, he lived for a time on the Jesse BURFORD farm. A son, John P. Canine, lives in Knoxville, Tenn. - kbz
