Indianapolis, Jan 17, 1997 -- Elizabeth Canine of Indianapolis died Friday at her residence, where she had lived for five months. She had formerly lived in Brownsburg and Crawfordsville. Mrs. Canine was a retail sales clerk at Dellekamps department store at Crawfordsville for 20 years. She was also a sales clerk for 15 years at LS Ayres in Indianapolis. She was born at Oakland, Ill to Edward and Lucretia Ashmore JACKSON. She married Russell Canine. He died in 1961. Survivors include a daughter, Ann HEDGES of Brownsburg; a sister, Eva McQUEEN of Crawfordsville; 3 grandchildren and four greats. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in Masonic North Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today at Matthews Mortuary at Brownsburg. - kbz
