Mrs. Addie Jane Campbell, 92, of 401 California St., died at 3 a.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital where she had been a patient since 5 p.m. Wednesday. She had been seriously ill since Sunday. Born April 7, 1873, in Boone County, she was a daughter of Rombert M. and Rebecca Sample Stephenson. She was married Nov. 20, 1895, in Boone County to Charles A. Campbell. Mr. Campbell died March 13, 1927. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell lived in Kirklin until 1905. After that, they resided in Northeastern Boone County until Mr. Campbell's death. After his death, she resided in Lebanon until January of 1964 when she moved to Crawfordsville to make her home with a daughter, Mrs. Clarisa Edwards. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Lebanon and Daughters of Union Veterans while the organization was active in Lebanon. Survivors include the daughter with whom she made her home; a sister, Mrs. Roby Hopp of Rt. 1, Kirklin; and a grandson, Donald W. Edwards of Fullerton, Calif. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Sherman R., two brothers, a sister, a granddaughter and a great-grandson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Myers' Chapel of Memories in Lebanon with Rev. Arthur Korteling officiating. Interment will be in Mud Creek Cemetery near the Salem Church in Boone County. Friends may pay their respects at the mortuary.
