John Callahan, aged 69 years, died on Friday night at his home near the dry branch trestle of peritonitus. His funeral was from St. Bernard's Church on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. John Calllahan was born in Ireland. For years he has been a respected citizen of Crawfordsville. He leaves a wife and a large family of children all of grown estate. - kbz

John Callahan, aged sixty nine years, died Friday night at his home near the Big Four trestle after an illness of several weeks. The funeral occurred Monday morning at St. Bernard’s Church. Mr. Callahan was born in Ireland but had lived in Crawfordsville for many years.
