WAYNETOWN, Ind. (CNS) -- Luther T. Calder, 67, of Crawfordsville Route 7, died at 6:55 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 15, 1969) at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville, after an illness of four months. Born Feb. 14, 1902, in Pulaski County, Ky., he was the son of John and Sarah Jane Young Calder. Mr. Calder was educated in Kentucky. On April 2, 1932, he was married to Mildred Evelyn Moore at Crawfordsville. He farmed in the Richmond and New Market areas until his retirement in 1964. Surviving are his widow; one son, Bill, Crawfordsville Route 6; two daughters, Mrs. Christine Flint, Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Beverly Ross, Vero Beach, Fla., seven grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence, Waynetown Route 3, and Henry, Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Goduy, Mrs. Minnie Leigh and Mrs. Mary Hickson, all of Science Hill, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Calder was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and an infant daughter. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown, with the Rev. John Morris, New Market, officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today.--waw
