May 20 Mr. and Mrs. DW Pence received word Tuesday of the death that day of their son-in-law, Fred W. BUSSE, at his home in Chicago. Mr. Busse who was well known here, had been ill 5 or 6 weeks, although not confined to his bed and he died suddenly of heart trouble. Funeral services were conducted Friday May 20 at a Chicago Funeral Home and burial took place in Ridgewood Cemetery, Chicago. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Vern Pence Busse; a daughter, Mrs. Fernleigh Farber, a stepdaughter, Mrs. June Callahan, one grandson, Harold Farber a brother, Henry Bussee, Chicago. Mr. Busse was assistant manager of the Corn Products Refining Co and was a member of Golden Rule Lodge No. 726 F& AM and Arion Connell NO. 11, Royal League. Owing to the ill health of Mrs. Pence they were unable to attend the funeral. - kbz
