Mrs. Viola Pearl Burris, 54, of Lafayette, died Sunday (June 22, 1969) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She had been a patient since June 8 and had been in ill health two years. She was a patient in the home of Nancy Master at Battleground before entering the hospital. Born March 22, 1915, at Brandenburg, Ky., she was the daughter of Isaac and Jennie Logsdon. She was married in 1957 at Sterling to Arnold Burris. She formerly was employed at the courthouse and at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Mable Hutchinson of New Richmond Route 1, Mrs. Pauline Vandergraft of Attica Route 1 and Mrs. Mattie Logsdon of Crawfordsville. Services Tuesday at the DeSutter Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Ryan officiated. Burial in Wheeler Grove Cemetery, south of Odel.--waw
