Mrs. Mildred (Kleiser) BURRIN, 77, wife of Waveland Pharmacist, Frank Burrin, died Sunday in the Ben Hur Convalescent home at Crawfordsville. She had been in ill health for more than a year. A native of the community, she was a daughter of Dr. Arthur J. and Carrie (BOLTON) Kleiser and was born Feb 28, 1889. She was a graduate of Waveland High School in 1906 and Wooster College in Ohio and for a time taught music inn the local schools. She married Mr. Burrin Sept 1, 1910 in Waveland. Mrs. Burrin was a member of the Waveland Covenant Church and had served as an elder in its predecessor, the Waveland Presbyterian Church. She was a past president of the Ladies Aid, Westminster Guild and Waveland Department Club and past secretary of the Presbyterian Cemetery Board. Survivors include the husband, two sons, Joe of Covington and Dr. Frank K. of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Ratliff of South Bend; 3 grandchildren, a niece and two nephews. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Machledt and Services Funeral Home where friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday. Burial in Waveland Presbyterian Cemetery. Rev. Walter Porter will be the officiating minister.
