Mrs. Pauline J. Burkhardt, 66, of Lake Holiday, died suddenly early today in Culver Hospital. Mrs. Burkhardt was a retired employe of Elston Bank & Trust Co. and after retirement started an antique business. She lived in the Mace area many years and the last seven years spent winters in Florida. She was a member of First Christian Church at Crawfordsville, attended the Mace-Linnsburg elementary schools and graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1928. She attended Ball State University. Born Sept. 12, 1910, she was a daughter of Wallace J. and Ruth Loop McAnulty. She married Finis Burkhardt at Mace on June 22, 1930. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, James W. of Lake Holiday and Robert R. of Bowie, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Barbara) Wiley of Rt. 2, Jamestown; two sisters, Mrs. Foster Nichols of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Harry Henning of New Ross; and seven grandchildren. A grandchild is deceased. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday in Burkhart Funeral Home at Crawfordsville with the Rev. John L. Glosser officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday.--waw
