Mrs. Grace BURKETT for many years a resident of Crawfordsville and who has been living in Cleveland for some time passed away at her home there Friday night according to a message received by her sister, Mrs. Andrew Booher north Water Street. Mrs. Burkett's death was believed caused by a heart attack. When she did not appear at the business house in Cleveland where she had been working for the past 8 years her son, Ned went to the home to investigate. He found that she had died during the night. Mrs. Burkett while a resident of this city was employed at the Bischof store and was identified with Business & Professional Women's club. Those surviving are the son, Ned, two sisters, Mrs. Booher of this city and Mrs. RTM Giffin (sic) of Indianapolis and one brother, Will E. Smith of South Bend. Mrs. Burkett for a time was a resident of Darlington. The body will be brought here Tuesday and funeral arrangements will be announced later. - typed and contributed by kbz
