Thomas Burk, for many years a resident of this county, died at the home of his son, Richard Burk in Terre Haute Sunday evening at the age of 84. A few years ago Mr. Burk suffered a stroke of paralysis and at that time his health gradually worsened. For the past week his death had been expected at any time. The body arrived here Wednesay morning and was taken immediately to the Odd Fellows cemetery where interment was made. Beside the son at whose home he died, Mr. Burk is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Otty of Terre Haute and two other sons, residence of California and Lew of this place.
