Mrs. David Buntin died at her home on East Green Street, about nine on Sunday morning. She has been an invalid for years. On Saturday night she seemed worse than usual and complained of having cold. She fell asleep toward morning and could not be roused. She was very deaf and one of her pleasures was to hear the church bells ring. Mr. Buntin tried to wake her and found that she was dying. She passed away in a few minutes. It was her request that no special funeral service should be held. The body was interred at Mt. Moriah on Tuesday afternoon. Drusilla Talbott was born near Versailles, in Ripley County 63 years ago. She was married to Beverly Wade and to them was born one daughter, Eva, now dead who married Morton Tague. After the death of Mr. Wade, some 40 years ago, she married David Buntin who had one child, Morton, at that time five years old. No children were born to them, but she was a true mother to her stepson, who survives her and holds her in loving rememebrance. She leaves three grandchildren, Jesse Tague of Lebanon, Roy Tague of New Market and Mrs. Grace Devoto of Marshall, four step grandchildren, the children of Morton Buntin of Columbus. Mr. Buntin accompanied his son to Columbus and will make his home with him. The deceased woman was his 3rd wife. - kbz
